When registering yourself, you'll be taken to another website, called Studio Director, without ready access to everything you see on our site.
Unless you are brand new to SGA or Spokane Elite, you must have given your email and password to a Registrar before you can register!
We strongly suggest you read the information below under "Things to know..." so that you'll be able to make sense of the abbreviations you'll see on the registration screens.
First of all, all the classes you'll see are listed in abbreviated format. For instance, the Tuesday Level 2 A at Shiveley at 4 PM with Keala Hopps becomes, for example, "T L 2 A SH 400 KH." In Spokane, the "L" is often a "G" (for "Girls) or a "B" (for Boys). Thus, W Boys Levels 1 & 2 at 4 with Alexa Smith becomes "W B L 1&2 4 ALS." The format of the abbreviation is always: Day, Level, Gym, Time, Instructor.
When you leave here, you'll go to a search page which will use these abbreviations. Mouse over a class and a description of it will pop up. That's so you can enroll in the correct class. [If you instructor gave you a progress report, the class suggested for the next season is listed on that report.] If you are new to SGA or SEG, go to the class descriptions to find the correct class. (Don't worry too much, though. If you inadvertantly sign yourself up for the wrong thing, we will catch it when it comes in and call you to fix it.) Since the descriptions abbreviate the instructor's name, you might want to check the initials each Seattle instructor uses. or that each Spokane instructor uses
Once you do go to online registration, you'll see something like this:

To winnow things down to a reasonable size, use the selection choices at the top of the screen. The best narrowing always includes the "Type" of class. For example, "daytime classes before 4 PM run under the Day Program." Classes listed in green have openings. Classes in red are full.
Here's a trick for Seattleites to remember: evening classes on or after 4 PM on weekdays PLUS Saturday morning classes run under the "Evening/Weekend Classes" label.
The classes, parties or camps that fit your criteria will be displayed for you. Mouse over them for brief descriptions -- but don't click on them.
Avoid clicking on a class until you are sure what you want! [You can click freely on everything else.] Just run your mouse over a class name and description of the class will pop up. Redo the selection criteria as much as you like. Check out the other tabs. Just remember, when you do click on a class, you'll be taken directly to registration.
One last thing: you must know your account ID and password to enter easily. Your ID is the email address we have on file for you. Your password is whatever you entered (or we entered at your request). IF YOU HAVEN'T PUT IN A PASSWORD and ARE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT SGA/SEG, YOU CAN STILL ENTER. Just use the "Forgot your password" link to go through a password creation process. [Enter a bogus email address and when it rejects it, it will ask you to register a password...] If your ARE currently an SGA or SEG student, you must call your Registrar and give them your email address and password.
Wait a minute!! I have some questions (or problems with this web site)!!
Note 1: There are some classes, practices, teams, workouts and special events that are not available online. Usually, that's because the participants are restricted for one reason or another. You can still see them on the web, but you can't enroll in them. If this happens to you, call your Registrar (206 362 7447 in Seattle; 509-533-9646 in Spokane) to sign up for those.
